This is a recent interview (23 October 2010) with David Diop (French/Sénégale). He received the Prix Goncourt des Lyéens in 2018 for his novel Frère d'âme. You will also hear excerpts from this work read by two of my fellow francophiles in the French Workshop, "Cours de la littérature francophone" at the Alliance Française. Diop was in Paris and the workshop participant were in our respective homes.
